Troop 66 is a boy lead unit founded on the principles of the patrol method. Currently the troop has 26 registered scouts and 14 registered adults. Each month during our Scout year, we go on a camping or outdoor activity. Thank you for visiting out website.

BSA Medical Forms

Please make sure your BSA medical forms are on file and up to date with Troop Medical Officer. Any Scout or Adult that goes weekend camping, needs to have Parts A and B complete. For summer camp, Parts A, B ,C (Physcial) and Part D need to be completed. The 2016 BSA medical form can be found on the Troop website under Files or on the Connecticut Rivers Council website. It is also attached to this Announcement.

Summer Camp Deposits Due by February 29th

If your Scout is planning on attending summer camp, a $50 deposit is Due by February 29th, the total Cost for Summer camp is $405, remainder due by May 9th. If you are intrested in a Troop or Council Campership, please contact Mr. Riley. Webelos joing the Troop and New Scouts registering with the Troop after March 2nd can turn in payment up date of summer camp.

New Rank Requirements Effective January 1, 2016

BSA has published the attached new requirements for rank advancement that go into effect on January 1st.  You will be allowed to complete the rank you are currently earning at the time of the change on January 1st, but will move to the new requirements after that.

Updated Eagle Project Workbook

With our change of Advancement Coordinators, the Eagle Scout Project Workbook has been updated to the March 2015 version with the new information and posted to the Files section of this website.  Go to Eagle Scout Paperwork (inlcuding Palm Applications) for any infromation you need when working on your Eagle Scout Rank or palms.
