Troop 66 is a boy lead unit founded on the principles of the patrol method. Currently the troop has 26 registered scouts and 14 registered adults. Each month during our Scout year, we go on a camping or outdoor activity. Thank you for visiting out website.

Updated Eagle Project Workbook

BSA updated the Eagle Scout Project Workbook as of January 1, 2021.  This new version (January 2021) has been updated with the current troop leadership information and posted to the Files section of this website.  Go to Eagle Scout Paperwork (inlcuding Palm Applications) for any infromation you need when working on your Eagle Scout Rank or palms.

Annual Popcorn Sales!

Our Boy Scouts have the opportunity to sell popcorn as a fundraiser for Scouting activities and equipment such as: Scouting related items at our annual shopping at Cabela's, the Scout Shop, Troop activity fees, Scout’s Eagle Project, Scout camp, and National/World Jamboree Fees.

Summer Camp 2020 Signup

We will be attending summer camp the last week of July, July 26th to August 1st. The total fee is $425, with $50 due by March 9th  and the remainder due by April 27th. For finacial assitance, please see Mr. Riley, Mr. Bishop or Mr. Fitzgerald.

BSA Medical Forms

Please make sure your BSA medical forms are on file and up to date with Troop Medical Officer. Any Scout or Adult that goes weekend camping, needs to have Parts A and B complete. For summer camp, Parts A, B ,C (Physcial) and Part D need to be completed. The 2020 BSA medical form can be found on the Troop website under Files or on the Connecticut Rivers Council website. It is also attached to this Announcement.
